Q: how much work would need to be done on a 1969 camaro?
I found a 1969 Chevrolet Camaro SS/RS that I really like, its about 10,000 dollars and it looks like it has had a good restoration. But I want to know if its a good idea to use this car as a daily driver, and how much work and money would i need to put into it. I’d really appreciate any input.

A: There’s no reason it couldn’t be a daily driver. People used to drive cars like that every day. It’s not like it’s hard or expensive to fix. Just make sure the brake system has been properly maintained, and the lines aren’t rusted out. Rust and corrosion is what kills old cars.

Q: How do you restore a 1969 Camaro?
My dad has had a 1969 Camaro SS since the 70’s. He always kept it in perfect condition. However, he stopped driving it 15 years ago. After that he kept it sitting in a wooden barn for eight years, then we got a metal barn and it has been in there since. It hasn’t been cranked in years. I don’t know why he won’t fix it up, but if I convinced him to fix it up with me, what would we have to do to get it up and running? (besides replacing the rims and tires)

A: I don’t know why he won’t fix it up……

Its an old man thing…. Its just there – as a reminder of his youth….

Don’t pay any mind to the above answerers…… Just start by doing this….. Talk him into just getting the engine started…. Don’t discuss restorations or rebuilding…. Just start by getting the engine started….. It might be just the spark he needs to get it going….

Q: Tips on where to look for an 1967-1969 camaro project?
Im looking for a camaro between 1967-1969, im looking for a car that would be good for a project, im just don’t know where to search for a project like that. I tried looking at ebay, i just dont like the whole you have to bid to when. So is there a website for project cars or something, where can i look?

A: i see project camaros going left and right on Craigslist.

Q: Whats better 1969 Camaro or 1969 Mustang?
I keep arguing with my dad about this. He likes Camaro’s best, but I like Mustangs. But ever since I drove my Grandpa’s 1969 Camaro I fell in love it was gorgeous and I sure got eyes from some hot chicks haha im 19 so what is best Mustang or Camaro?

A: Camaro’s are sexy, i don’t like mustangs, yes this coming from a chick, i have 5 camaros ranging from 1985-1991, 85- hardtop Z28, 2 87’s ttops and iroc’s, 91 rs convertible, and a 91 Z28 convertible…

Q: Is it possible to find a 1969 Camaro?
I really want one, but i cant find any, are they extinct?
If not, where can i find one?

A: they are out there, just keep looking and be ready to spend lots

my dad and i are trying to find on for a project together and all we want is the shell.if anybody knows where i can find one please help me out.

A: You can buy a new shell threw Dynacorn……Lots easier than dealing with rust……………..&&&

Q: Where can I find a 1969 Camaro SS project car for $2,000 to $3,000 ?
I’ve been looking for one for awhile now and I’m strting to become impatient.lol! So any help would be extremely appreciated. I would like to find a decent Chevelle of the same condition.
Please let me know if you know anything at all

A: Good luck. Those are both highly desirable cars and it’s going to be hard to find one that cheap.

Q: Where can i find a 1969 camaro z28 for sale in houston texas?
i dont care if its old and busted up or at a junk yard

A: I hate to tell you but that car does not exist in anything short of collectors or restored condition in Texas. My best friend bought a 70 Z-28 LT-1 out of college and STILL has it. You might try National Dragster and find an old drag car and restore it if the numbers match but there are a LOT of Z-28 emblems out there.

Good Luck

Q: 1969 camaro, 1970 Chevelle or a pre 70 GTO what would you choose?
If you were to buy one as a joy toy say $30,000 not looking to restore just a sunday driver, would you go as classic as possible or lean more to the modern Accessories?

A: On the camaro a nice lite blue and the chevelle a deep glossy black and gto a red so just hav classic extorior and more updated interior

Q: How much would a 1969 Chevy camaro SS cost?
Im looking to buy one, I live in california, San Bernardino.
I have NO clue how much they would be, and if you could give me an idea where i could get one, ’cause the car dealerships near me dont sell camaros at all.
Thanks yooo

A: well, it depends on the condition of the car, if the car is solid, if the car is all original. This meaning the engine and body VIN #’s match. I would say a good one would cost between $30,000 to $70,000 bucks, so make sure have a good chuck a change if you want original. Also, there is the option that people make clones, replicas and kits so it would bring the price of the car down a lot.

Q: How many girls in high school would you pick up if you rode a 1969 Chevy camaro?

A: RODE??? what are you the hood ornament. You’ll get way more driving it.

Q: Where could i buy a 1969-71 camaro project car in california?
Ive been looking for this car for a while now and i was wondering if any one knew where i could find it. I still want it to be a project car. Like it being not painted body damage bad interior. I would like the car to run well. Thanks :)

A: check out the orange county recycler at recycler.com

Q: Can you customize the 1969 Camaro SS on Need For Speed Most Wanted?

A: No unfortantly :-(

Q: What is the torque spec for a flywheel and pressure plate for a 1969 chevy camaro?

A: I would say 65 foot pounds for the flywheel and 20 foot pounds for the pressure plate but thats just standard. Flywheels usually go on with a 3/8 impact and the pressure plate needs to be torqued evenly around to prevent misalignment.

Q: Price range for a 1969 Chevy Camaro and Dodge Charger?
I was looking for old cars. Someone said they wanted an old 1969 Dodge Charger, so I went on google and I they looked cool. But I like the 1960s Chevy Camaro.
If anyone knows the prices of these two cars, please help.
I think they’re way cool (:

A: depends on if you buy them in a “project car” condition, barely running or restored, a junk classic msucle car can cost between $1,000 and $2,000 easy with no drive train, fully restored to factory specs they’ll cost about $45,000-75,000 give or take only because a 69 camaro and 69 charger are highly in demand, look on autotrader.com or eBay

i also suggest if you do buy one don’t let it sit in a garage, drive it like it was made to, even daily
